Shamirpet is known for recreation with natural forest reserves, lakes and resorts.  It also has a Deer  Park spread across 54 acres. One of the open space in Shamirpet interchange with a sheet rock base is turned into sculptural landscape by using natural boulders around the site.

Telangana is well known for historical textile industry with many weaving clusters across the state. Few of which are at Siddipet & Sircilla, which is the biggest textile hub in the state. At Shamirpet Interchange of  Hyderabad Outer Ring Road, One of the Rotary landscape is sculpted to speak the importance of these two places.

The ‘shuttle’ which is the crucial part of the loom is magnified as sculptural element in focus with 6 different colors placed at varied heights while the base of the rotary is adorned by a grid of planting beds which are soon to signify the weave pattern.
